Fifteen minutes of fame …
More than 30 years ago there was a very popular VARA dutch radio show called “2 meter de lucht in”, hosted by Jan Douwe Kroeske. Listeners could send in their favorite four songs and a description why they liked those songs so much and if you were lucky your list was picked as mini-LP of the week. So I spend a good time behind the typewriter and send in a letter with a list of songs and why I liked these songs so much. The songs were broadcast on radio and I received a “LP-bon” for the worth of 25 guilders… good old times !
